Using our No Molds Required (NMR) manufacturing process, we fabricate plastic housings from sheet materials without injection molding tooling.

ABS Material Options for Your Enclosure

We work with several ABS grades and blends:

Virgin and general-purpose ABS for custom enclosure applications.
UL 94 V-0 and UL 94 HB materials for projects with specified flammability requirements.
Weatherable ABS for applications requiring weather-resistant material properties.
ESD ABS for projects with electrostatic discharge requirements.
ABS blends, including PC/ABS, for applications requiring a different combination of material properties.

When we decided to use Envision Plastics and Design for our smart card development enclosure it seemed like the only real solution. We were struggling with earlier versions that were really too heavy for our technicians to put into a suitcase. Envision’s NMR manufacturing process allowed me to create a custom design that was lightweight and cosmetically pleasing using ABS. We were able to use their digital printing capabilities to designate branding, identify connector receptacles, and additional front panel information. The team was great to work with!
